Established in 1999, Ark Surveys, under the ownership of Lawrence Weldon, offer a professional yacht consultancy and surveying service. Based at his office in Maldon in Essex, he routinely travels on surveys throughout the East Anglia area, and will visit the South Coast by arrangement.

Lawrence is experienced in both sail and power, in wood and GRP. After completing a five-year apprenticeship and a further four-years formal training at McGruer & Co Boatbuilders of Scotland, he then moved to the southeast of England; gaining experience within the wider marine industry. He is dedicated to his work and provides a comprehensive service for owners of private craft of most types. He is approachable, practical and operates on straightforward terms.
